FAQs — Naples to Capri

Cars to Capri — possible?
Only slow car ferry to Capri (80 min) accepts cars, and cars are restricted on Capri itself unless you're a resident. Not worth it for a day trip. Ferry only.
Naples vs Sorrento for Capri?
Sorrento is faster (30 min) + smaller port. Naples has more frequent departures + is easier to reach from Napoli Centrale train. Choose based on your Italy itinerary base.
