Person spills coffee or ketchup on you, apologises + tries to help clean — accomplice lifts phone/wallet.
Someone-hit-me
Person grabs your arm claiming they were just attacked, distracting your attention.
Metro doors trap
Two board with you, block your movement, third lifts wallet as doors close.
Fake police "check papers"
Man claims to be police + wants to see passport/wallet — often takes cash from it during "inspection".
Prevention
