TAROM is Romania’s national airline, established in 1954 and operating as a full-service carrier. Owned by the Romanian state, it is the country’s flag carrier and the oldest continuously operating airline in the region. Based at Henri Coandă International Airport in Bucharest, TAROM provides scheduled passenger and cargo services. TAROM’s cabin product includes Economy and Business classes, with Business Class available on all long-haul and select short-haul routes. The airline’s Business Class offers lie-flat seats on Airbus A318 and A330 aircraft, while Economy includes complimentary meals and beverages on flights over two hours. TAROM’s baggage policy allows one checked bag free of charge in Economy for most routes, with additional allowances for Business Class passengers.
