The official public taxi queue is on Level 1 (Arrivals), Gate 4 or 7, clearly marked with yellow-and-black signs. A dispatcher will hand you a numbered ticket and assign your cab — never follow anyone who approaches you before this point. The stand operates 24 hours and taxis are metered by law.

Add ฿50 airport surcharge + expressway tolls (฿25–75 each) paid by passenger. Fares higher in peak traffic.

Grab & Bolt from Suvarnabhumi

Grab and Bolt both operate at BKK. Pickup is on Level 4, Departures — not the arrivals level. Expect to pay ฿300–500 (~$8–$14) to central Bangkok with prices shown upfront in the app. Surge pricing applies during rain and rush hour.

Scam Avoidance Tips

• Always use the official queue on Level 1 — never accept offers from touts inside the terminal.
• Confirm the driver starts the meter before you move. Flat-rate offers are almost always overpriced.
• You pay expressway tolls — keep small bills (฿25–50 coins/notes) ready for the booths.
• Agree on nothing before getting a dispatcher ticket. Licensed taxis are metered by Thai law.
• Screenshot your driver's plate and share your Grab/Bolt ride with a contact for safety.
