Sun PhuQuoc Airways / AirAsia fleet transfer — what happens to 9M-XVC + 9M-XVE?
SPA has now absorbed 18 aircraft previously operated or ordered by AirAsia — including 2 A321LRs (VN-A925 + VN-A926, ex-9M-XVD + 9M-XVF) that never flew a single AirAsia commercial rotation. The remaining question: 9M-XVC and 9M-XVE are still at AirAsia. XVC was stored on 23 July, XVE is currently operating domestic Malaysia rotations. Are these next in the SPA pipeline, or are lessors marketing to Wizz Air / Cebu Pacific first? What do the ch-aviation entries show as of this week?
Japan Alps ryokan in autumn — which four?
A six-day ryokan crawl from Nagoya through the Alps to Nagano needs four properties. My rotation: one 400-year-old merchant house in Takayama, two Hida-Furukawa properties, one Nagano twelve-room-one-seating. Amman to Cairo overland — border crossing tips + Sinai security 2026
I run this route every 6 months. Aqaba → Nuweiba ferry is smoother if you take the sunset one (fewer trucks). Sinai security has changed in 2026 — I want to hear from anyone who's done Dahab → Cairo since March. Also: which sleeper train from Luxor is running (Watania vs the older Egyptian Railway)? And does the JETT Amman → Petra 07:00 departure still exist?
Kyoto ryokan for same-sex couples — verified welcoming in 2025-2026?
Ana and I have six ryokan on our verified-welcoming list from 2024 + 2025. If you've stayed at any Kyoto ryokan as a same-sex couple in the last two years, please add. What we mean by verified: registered you as a couple at check-in without hesitation, gave you the shared futon configuration you asked for, and treated the onsen etiquette naturally. Names please — not vague reassurances.
Turnberry in November — which room did you book?
November at Turnberry is £195 green fees and near-empty tee sheets. Which room did you take? I hold that Ailsa View is the only defensible choice under £400 — the Classic Fairway rooms face the Kintyre course, which is the wrong course. Correct me.

The Ayurveda-in-Kerala market is 90% wellness theatre + 10% legitimate clinical practice. If you did 10+ days of Panchakarma, which centre? What were your measurable outcomes (HRV, sleep architecture, resting HR)? And which of the three "authenticity questions" did they answer correctly? I'll compile a properly-vetted list for readers.

We are eleven for Ryder Cup week 2027. Adare Manor doesn't sell family rooms — you connect a State Suite to a Manor Room. If you have booked (or held) rooms for the week, which combinations sleep 4+ comfortably? And what did the front desk say about connecting for our 84-year-old grandma who needs step-free access from her room to breakfast?
Aman Tokyo, 72 hours — what did the concierge actually offer?
The Aman Tokyo concierge produces a small black envelope of hand-cut cards on Day 2. Mine had a Nihonbashi sake maker + a woodblock-print printmaker who takes one visitor per week. What did yours have? I want a comparison — I suspect the envelope varies by season + guest history.

I was in Cagliari and San Vito last October — a small pensione in Cagliari that closed for the winter the week I left, and a coastal bar in San Vito where the chef kept the kitchen open past midnight because I was writing. Where did you actually sleep when you went solo? Names of pensioni + who ran them. Add the practical stuff — which town felt safest walking back at 23:00 with a suitcase.
