Editor's field notes
AirConnect EditorialAREX Express vs All-Stop. Express (₩13,000, 43 min) is direct + reserved seat + comfort. All-Stop (₩5,350, 67 min) is far cheaper with T-money card + regular metro seating. Difference: about 24 min + a seat guarantee for ₩7,650. Solo backpacker: All-Stop wins. Business traveller: Express. Both drop at Seoul Station where you connect to Metro Line 1, 4, or KTX bullet trains.

T1 vs T2 confusion. Korean Air, Delta, Air France, KLM at Terminal 2. Everyone else (Asiana, most airlines) at Terminal 1. AREX serves both — check your ticket carefully. Free shuttle between T1 + T2 (5 min).
Late arrival options. AREX Express runs 05:20-23:40. All-Stop 05:23-24:34. After that: Kakao T taxi 24/7 (₩70-90k). ICN airport hotel (Grand Hyatt Incheon direct connected). No overnight transit bus.
Metro transfer at Seoul Station. From AREX platform → Metro Line 1 (blue) or Line 4 (light blue) via a 5-min walk. Line 1 for Jonggak/Sinseoldong. Line 4 for Myeongdong/Chungmuro/ Dongdaemun. KTX bullet trains from Seoul Station serve Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon.
