Getting there
Aswan International Airport (ASW) has direct flights from Cairo (1h 15m) + European seasonal. From airport: 30 min taxi. Abu Simbel Airport (ABS) 40 min from the temple.
Getting around
Taxi + felucca boat. Abu Simbel requires organised convoy tour (leaves 04:00) or flight. Uber doesn't operate in Aswan.
October-April (mild). May-September is extreme heat (42°C+ typical).
