Hillside painted village — colourful houses + Instagram art. Free walk. Bus 1-1 or 2 from Toseong Station.

Haeundae Beach + Haeundae Blue Line Park

Busan's main beach + brand-new coastal sky-capsule ride along the beach railway. Beach free, capsule KRW 30,000.

Gwangalli Beach + Gwangan Bridge

Better sunset than Haeundae — bridge lit up at night + drone shows weekends.

Jagalchi Fish Market

Korea's largest seafood market. Buy fish downstairs, eat on the 2nd floor sashimi restaurants.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

Buddhist temple on a cliff over the sea — one of Korea's most beautiful. Free.

Mountainside temple at Geumjeongsan — hike or cable car.

BIFF Square

Nampo-dong district — the film festival + Busan Cinema Center. Street food + shopping.

Songdo Skywalk + cable car

Glass-bottom skywalk over the sea + cable car to Amnam Park. Family-friendly.

Getting there

Gimhae International Airport (PUS) has direct flights from Seoul (1h), Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Singapore. KTX bullet train from Seoul (2h 30m, ~$50). From airport: light rail + subway.

Getting around

Busan metro is cheap (~KRW 1,500 per ride). Buses cover coast. Uber doesn't operate — use Kakao T. Walking (compact districts).

April-June + September-October. July-August hot + humid + beach peak. December-March cool + dry.
