Marathon Day Luggage Storage
You check out before the race and fly home after it. Where does your suitcase spend the day?
A race's own bag drop is for what you need at the finish, not your suitcase. A storage spot near the finish or your onward station holds your luggage for the day. Below is bookable storage in marathon cities.

Tips
Drop your suitcase the day before if you can
Race morning is busy. If your hotel and storage times allow it, store your suitcase before race day.
Choose a spot on your way out of the city
Pick storage near the finish or near the station or bus you take to the airport, so you collect it on your way.
Leave time after the finish
Allow for getting out of the finish area, changing and collecting your bags before your train or flight.
Check the opening hours for your day
Storage spots are shops, cafés and hotels with their own hours. Before you book, check that the spot is open both when you drop off and when you pick up, especially early mornings, late evenings and Sundays.
