Frequently asked questions
Why list on AirConnect rather than running my own SEO?+
You should do both. AirConnect aggregates demand across categories (a customer searching "private jet to Monaco" might also be in our hotel + transfer funnels). For most operators, AirConnect is incremental demand on top of your own channels — at zero CAC, since we only charge when a booking closes.
How is the 12% commission calculated?+
On the total trip value (net of taxes and fuel surcharges) for closed bookings. For private jets and helicopters this is the charter rate. For accommodation it's the nightly rate × nights. For multi-leg trips, commission applies to the full itinerary. No commission on cancelled or unfulfilled bookings.
What about KYC and licensing requirements?+
Charter operators (private jets, helicopters, eVTOL) must hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from their CAA. We verify AOC numbers against the relevant regulator. Accommodation suppliers need verified ownership or management contract. Yacht charterers need MCA or equivalent flag-state authorization. We don't list unlicensed operators.
Can I list partially — e.g., only certain aircraft or dates?+
Yes. Each listing is independent. You can list just one tail number, a specific route corridor, or a particular property — and pause/resume any listing anytime via the dashboard. Empty leg listings (50–75% off) are supported with date windows.
Do I get to keep the customer relationship?+
Yes. Once a customer books through AirConnect, you handle the booking confirmation, communication, and fulfillment directly. We pass through the customer's contact details upon confirmed booking. Future bookings the customer makes with you directly (off-platform) are yours — no clawback.
How does API submission work?+
Fleet operators and agencies get an API key after onboarding. You POST to /api/suppliers/listings with JSON payloads — supports bulk upload, real-time availability updates, and pricing changes. We also support iCal feed sync for accommodation. API docs available after approval.
