RAK is 6km from Djemaa el-Fna — petit taxi (red, max 3 pax) is the standard option, MAD 70-120 for the journey (always negotiate before getting in). Bus 19 is cheapest. For 4+ hour layovers: petit taxi + medina walk + souk visit + mint tea is achievable.
