Mohammed V International (CMN) — Africa's busiest airport by international connections — sits 30km southeast of Casablanca, connected to the city by the ONCF airport train (Office National des Chemins de Fer). This is one of Africa's best airport rail links: direct trains every 30 minutes from a dedicated station in the terminal to Casa-Voyageurs (33 min, MAD 43 ~USD 4.30) and continuing to Casa-Port (45 min). From Casa-Voyageurs you can transfer to the Al Boraq high-speed line to Rabat (60 min direct) and Tangier (2h 10 min) — Morocco's HSR opened in 2018 and is the fastest way north. The train is a dramatic value improvement over the airport taxi (MAD 300-400 fixed to central Casa). Buy tickets from ONCF machines in the terminal or at the station platform — English interface, cash or card. First class costs MAD 65. Trains run 05:30-22:15; overnight arrivals need a taxi. For onward travel to Marrakech, take the CMN airport train to Casa-Voyageurs, then ONCF conventional train to Marrakech (3h, MAD 140).

Where is the ONCF station at Casablanca airport?+
Directly underneath Terminal 1 — take the escalator down from arrivals, signposted "Gare / Train". The station has ONCF ticket machines (English/French/Arabic), a manned ticket office, and step-free platform access. Terminal 2 passengers walk through the airside connector (~5 min) to Terminal 1 then descend to the station.
Can I take the train to Marrakech from Casablanca airport?+
Not directly — the CMN airport train only runs to Casa-Voyageurs + Casa-Port. From Casa-Voyageurs, transfer to the Casablanca-Marrakech ONCF line: about 3 hours, MAD 140 second-class, 8 daily services. Al Boraq HSR does not currently continue to Marrakech (planned Casa-Marrakech HSR extension is post-2030).
