Take the elevator or escalator from the Arrivals Hall (Floor 1) to the Metro level (B1). Follow purple Line 11 (机场线 / Airport Line) signs. The walk is 5–8 minutes from gate to platform. (2) Direct cross-border coach from SZX terminal to Hong Kong Airport or Kowloon (¥150, 2 hours). Does Line 11 connect to Guangzhou?+
Not directly — Line 11 ends at Gangxia North. For Guangzhou, take Line 11 to Futian → walk to Futian high-speed rail station → Guangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed rail to Guangzhou South (32 min, ¥75) or Guangzhou East (45 min, ¥80). Total SZX → Guangzhou CBD: ~1.5 hours including all transfers and the rail journey. The new Greater Bay rail network makes the entire PRD a 1.5–2 hour radius.
Is the airport open 24 hours?+
SZX terminal is open 24 hours but Metro Line 11 stops at 23:00. After that, taxi or Didi to the city is the only option (¥100–140 to Futian).
