Is this for active crew only?+
Yes for the social features and crew-only deals — we verify active flight or cabin crew via your airline-issued ID. Public layover/airport guides remain free for anyone. We don't sell, lease, or share your verification documents.
What about pilot unions and gig-economy work?+
AirConnect Crew is explicitly NOT a crew-leasing or job-board product. We do not facilitate paid contract work between you and operators. We provide travel, community, and information services for crew already in employment.
How does verification work?+
Upload your current airline-issued crew ID (front + back). We OCR the airline name and ID number, then a human reviews. Once verified you get access to crew-only features. Your ID is encrypted at rest and never shared.
Is it really free?+
Yes — and it will stay free for verified crew. We monetize via affiliate (hotels, transfers, ancillaries) when you book through our deal links. No subscription, no paywall on layover content.
What if I am a partner or family member of crew?+
A partner/family access tier is coming. For now, your verified-crew family member can share their AirConnect roster + planned trips with you directly.
