Best Hotels Lloret de Mar 2026

Costa Brava, Spain

Lloret de Mar is Spain's most-visited Costa Brava resort town and one of Europe's top 10 most-booked package destinations — 1 million+ annual visitors, predominantly UK + Dutch + German short-haul families and young adults. Hotel pricing here is among the most competitive on the Mediterranean — quality 3-4 star all-inclusive resorts from £30-55 per person per night versus £55-90+ on Mallorca/Tenerife. HTOP Hotels operates several family-oriented properties in Lloret and the neighboring Pineda de Mar area. The geography matters: Lloret beach is divided into three sections — Fenals beach (west, calmest, residential, best for families with young children), Lloret Central beach (busiest, most amenities, party-adjacent), and Santa Cristina (east, smaller, quieter, hillside walk). For families: Fenals area is the safe pick.

Frequently asked questions

Where in Lloret de Mar should families stay?+

The Fenals area (west of central Lloret) is the family-recommended zone — calm beach, daytime atmosphere, away from the late-night nightlife strip. The Riviera neighborhood (between Fenals and Santa Cristina) is also family-quiet but a longer walk to the main beach. Avoid hotels labelled "Lloret East" or anywhere near the disco/club strip on Avinguda Just Marlès.

Cheapest time for Lloret de Mar?+

May-June and September-October. June 1-20 + September 10-30 are particularly value-strong — 50% off peak August prices, water still 21-24°C. Most all-inclusive resorts close November-March. Easter break (10-20 April typically) sees moderate pricing for early-season trips.

Lloret de Mar to Barcelona?+

Direct buses (Pujol Bus, ~90 min, €11 one-way) run multiple times daily to Barcelona Estació del Nord. Train requires bus to Blanes station + train (110 min total). For day trips: bus is more comfortable + reliable. For a city stopover before/after beach: many travellers fly into BCN, do 2 nights central Barcelona, then 5 nights Lloret beach (then home from BCN).

Best Lloret de Mar family beach?+

Fenals beach is the family choice — 700m of yellow sand, gradual entry, lifeguarded May-October, paid sunbeds and umbrellas, walking distance to family hotels. The main Lloret beach (centre) is bigger and busier but also family-friendly during daytime. Cala Banys (small cove west) is more dramatic but no sand — pebble.
