Airlines for Short-Haul Flights 2026
On short flights the fare rules, the bag allowance and the airport you land at often matter more than the cabin. These are airlines to compare for short trips.
None of these airlines has 5 traveller reviews on AirConnect yet, so none is scored or ranked. They are listed A–Z. Flown one recently? Rate it.
Airlines to compare (A–Z)
What to check before you book
- Check the carry-on size and weight for your fare: they differ between airlines and fare types.
- Check which airport the flight uses: some airlines fly to airports far from the city.
- Add bag and seat fees before you compare prices between airlines.
How this list works
AirConnect does not score airlines from editorial opinion. An airline gets a traveller score here only after at least 5 travellers have reviewed it on AirConnect; airlines with a score are listed first, highest first. The rest are listed A–Z until they have enough reviews. Which airlines appear is a list of major carriers, not a judgement of quality.
