Should I fly into Ezeiza (EZE) or Aeroparque (AEP)?+
EZE for international + most foreign carriers. AEP (Jorge Newbery) for domestic + regional (Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay). AEP is in the centre of Buenos Aires (15 min from Recoleta); EZE is 32 km south. The two airports are 35 km apart with no direct rail — allow 90 min by taxi between them. Always confirm IATA code on your ticket.
How do I get from Ezeiza to central Buenos Aires?+
Tienda León bus — ARS 9,500 (~USD 8), 40-60 min direct to Retiro station. Best option. Pre-paid official taxi at the airport USD 30-40 (avoid touts). Cabify or Uber USD 25-35 (Uber legal status is contested in Argentina — Cabify is the safer choice). Avoid private buses run by hotels (overpriced).
