How do I get from Incheon to central Seoul?+
AREX Express train — ₩9,000, 43 min direct to Seoul Station. Best balance of speed + cost. AREX All-Stop is cheaper (₩4,250) but slower (58 min, 11 stops). KAL Limousine Bus — ₩17,000 direct to major hotels (60-90 min, comfortable). Taxi ₩70,000-₩90,000 (1-1.5h, traffic-dependent). The Magnetic Levitation train was discontinued in 2021.
How long do I need to transfer between Incheon terminals?+
Free shuttle bus T1↔T2 — every 5-10 minutes, 15-min ride. Allow 60-90 min total for an inter-terminal connection (15 min walk to bus + 15 min ride + 30-45 min check-in + security). Same-terminal connections: 60 min minimum domestic, 90 min international. Korean Air ↔ Asiana (T2 to T1) requires the shuttle — no airside connection.

K-ETA may be required for some — check k-eta.go.kr (₩10,000 / 3-yr validity / 30-min approval). Visa-free transit allows up to 24 hours without a K-ETA. AREX train to Seoul takes 43 min. Allow 5-6 hours round trip minimum.
How early should I arrive at Incheon?+
Domestic-only: 60 min (rare at ICN — most domestic uses Gimpo/GMP). International: 2.5-3 hours. ICN security is famously efficient (typically 10-20 min waits). Free Wi-Fi check-in at Seoul Station + City Airport Terminal (downtown) up to 5h pre-flight for KE/OZ/AA/UA passengers — drop bags in town, return later luggage-free.
